Luanne's  photographic imagery and textile work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, included Japan, China, and Korea, and is in many private and corporate collections. Her stitched pieces traveled in Quilt National 2013 and 2011 and she exhibited her work in the 2012, 2013, and 2014 Smithsonian Craft Shows in Washington DC. She has two pieces included in the book, Art Quilts of the Midwest, published by the University of Iowa Press, 2015. Other exhibitions include a solo exhibit at the Missouri Botanical Gardens, St. Louis, MO; St. Louis Creates, at the Siant Louis University Museum of Art; Art Quilt Elements, Wayne, PA; and A Collectors Exhibition Chicago Cultural Center, Chicago IL. ​Luanne received an MFA in Fibers from Southern Illinois University, and has taught numerous workshops and classes around the country. She is an artist, curator, instructor, and former Senior Director, Director of Education Programs at Craft Alliance Center of Art + Design in St. Louis, Missouri. She is currently a full time artist and her work is exhibited at Duane Reed Gallery in St. Louis MO.
